Liar, Liar Cell Phone's on Fire

I don't watch a lot of commercial television, but today when Sidrah fell asleep on my shoulder, I was able to channel surf as she dozed (she loves to wake up the second I put her down somewhere...Mommy is the best napping spot, it seems). This advertisement came on that made me laugh out loud. Probably everybody has seen this thing already:

Apparently this is a calling card that allows you to use your cell phone to call someone and a) change the name and number that is calling to whatever you want; b) change your voice, including to the opposite gender; and 3) detect if the person on the phone is lying.

According to the commercial, you should use THE LIAR CARD to see if your significant other is purposely not answering your calls (by pretending to call from his or her best friend's phone). The commercial would like you to believe that a poor Clinton lookalike would use this card to trick women into visiting him in the Oval Office. And THE LIAR CARD's best feature? Lie detection!

How does that work, you may ask?

What does LiarCard really measure?
LiarCard measures high and constant levels of Stress (Uncertainty), Embarrassment (Sadness), Anger (Anticipation), and Excitement (Concentration).

It is obviously highly scientific. Plus it uses the SAME TECHNOLOGY as developed by Israeli Intelligence.

So next time you see my name and number show up on your cell phone, it's probably just your significant other trying to catch you in a lie. Beware!

the real sting is when the company notifies your significant other that you've bought one to alert them because they were trying to test your communication and trust issues.
